Those students within the House of Spectra are unified with natural magic, including creatures and plants that rely on it to thrive. They demonstrate a keen ability to harvest magical materials from nature, and use them to imbue non-magical elements with magical properties. Although noted for their kindness and compassion, their kinship with nature can be used for defense and protection. They are able to identify, with great ease, unique types of flora and fauna. A typical student enjoys the task of foraging for fantastical things in the wilderness, as well as combining resources to amplify the magical potential, such as hybridizing plant species and propagating new species. Armed with various kinds of magnifying glasses or advanced eye gadgets that empower them on their searched through field and thicket, Spectrans revel in an opportunity to discover new things… even if they’re old.

 

 

The House Of Grimthane

 

Much like their namesake, students of the Grimthane House are masterful engineers. They mine rare and precious magical minerals from rocks to build machines and contraptions. They are the authority on geology and gemology. Some Miners have unearthed such rare elements from ancient rocks that they had never been seen before. Craftsmen at heart, they find great appeal in carving great monuments and using various gemstones to decorate them. Their knowledge of different magics associated with different gems has made them masterful in the art of jewelry making as well. While newer students use a traditional pick ax in order to scour rocks for more valuable discoveries, more advanced students use rather ornate, magically reinforced tools that fetch better results. Their efficiency with magic tools is unsurpassed.

 

 

The House Of Killdorian

 

Students who have studied within the House Of Killdorian are elemental masters. With a tome inscribed with archaic runes, they can pull essences from the winds. All Killdorian students know there is no greater or more wise traveler than the very winds, which they comb for knowledge. The ability to extract essences from the winds allow them to imbue artifacts with special elemental powers, such as Wind, water, fire and most importantly, memory. Given the diverity of essences carried on the winds, everything from a musical note to a childs laughter, or from a searing ash from the great Damuus Volcano to a Spectral bird feather, these students have incredible influence over the bending of magica to their will. While the most common tool for these Wind Sifters is a simple tome, more seasoned students use much bigger tomes capable of storing more information.
